Quarterly Pest Control
Calgary has a pest calendar, and it is remarkably consistent year to year. Quarterly service puts a licensed technician on your property four times a year, timed to what is actually happening outside — so the ants, wasps and mice are dealt with before they become the reason you are phoning someone in a panic.

How we handle it
- 01
Property assessment
The first visit is a proper walkthrough rather than a spray-and-go. We map the entry points, the harbourage, the moisture and the exterior conditions that decide what turns up and when, so the schedule is built around your building and not a generic calendar.
- 02
Seasonal plan
Four visits, each with a different job. Spring targets ants and early wasp nests before colonies establish. Summer covers peak insect pressure. Fall is the important one — rodents and boxelder beetles pushing indoors as temperatures drop. Winter is an interior visit, when activity concentrates in the warm parts of a building.
- 03
Scheduled visits
A licensed technician treats the perimeter and the interior areas the season calls for, checks anything found last visit, and adjusts as conditions change. Wet spring, dry summer, an early cold snap — all of it moves the timing, and the schedule flexes rather than sitting rigid on a date.
- 04
Records & review
Each visit is documented — what was found, what was treated, what to watch. Over a year the file shows whether the pressure is dropping or whether something structural needs fixing, which is a far better basis for a decision than remembering how bad last August felt.

Where we work
Quarterly Pest Control across Calgary
We run quarterly programs for homes and businesses throughout Calgary, from older inner-city properties with mature trees and open foundations to newer suburban builds where nearby construction pushes rodents indoors. The same seasonal schedule covers Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Okotoks and Strathmore, with acreage properties getting more attention on the exterior and outbuildings.

Common questions
Quarterly Pest Control — straight answers
Why four visits instead of calling when I see something?
Because by the time you see something, the population has usually been building for weeks. A wasp nest treated in June is a ten-minute job; the same nest in August is a much bigger one. Quarterly service works on the front edge of each season rather than cleaning up after it.
What happens if something shows up between visits?
You call us and we come back — that is how a program is supposed to work. Nobody should be sitting on a mouse in the pantry for six weeks because the next scheduled date is in October. Treatments carried out between visits come with the same guaranteed results as any other treatment we do.
Is quarterly enough for a house, or do I need monthly?
For most Calgary homes, quarterly is the right level — the pressure here is seasonal rather than constant. Monthly makes sense for food premises, high-traffic commercial sites, or properties with an ongoing structural issue that has not been resolved yet. We will tell you which one you are after the first walkthrough.
Does a winter visit actually do anything?
Yes, and it is the one people most often want to skip. Winter is when everything that got in during the fall is concentrated in the heated parts of the building — wall voids, mechanical rooms, the warm cavity behind an appliance. It is the easiest time of year to find rodent activity, because there is nowhere else for it to be.
